I discovered Pilates as a young dancer in training. I remember being shocked at how something that looked so simple was so challenging! I bought a book, signed up for more classes, and dove into the new world of intrinsic muscle training. Pilates not only made me stronger and more mobile, it helped me recover from multiple injuries.
